He lived in Susanville, CA and apparently he was a Farmer and a Stonemason and owned 320 acres.
John passed away February 15, 1906 and Sarah passed away February 18 or 21, 1908. They are both burried in the Susanville Cemetery located in Lassen County, Susanville, CA.

Marie is one of three children from Charles Emerson. Charles and Marie had three children, Nolan, Helen Spencer, and Catherine.
