Linda was born July 9, 1944 in Mesa, AZ from Hayden Harold Hinshaw Sr. and Esther Hosselkus. She married Frank Res. Together they had 2 children listed below:

Lorinda was born April 4, 1967 in Portland Oregon. She married Todd Scott Christianson. They had twin sons, Kyle Hayden Crhistianson and Ty William Christianson born August 1, 1994 in Boise Idaho. Lorinda and Todd are graduates of Orgon State University in Corvallis Oregon.

Shawn was born March 22, 1969 in Florence, OR. He married Lisa Rainie in October 1993. He has a daughter McKenzie Jane Res born July 28, 1995 in Bosie, ID and a stepson Stephen Rainie. Shawn served in the Navy during Desert Storm on the USS John F. Kennedy Aircraft Carrier. He also attended college of the Siskiyou in Weed, CA and Linn Benton College in Albany OR.

Linda and Frank Res divorced.
